This privacy policy explains how Couple Task: Mental Load (the "App") handles your information. We take your privacy seriously. The App is designed with a local-first, privacy-first approach: all data you create stays on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us or to any third party.
The App functions entirely without an account. There is no sign-up, login, or registration process. No user profile is created and no credentials are stored.
All data remains on your device. The App has no cloud-sync capability, no remote API endpoints, and no backend servers. Your family's task data never leaves your device.
The App offers a voice-to-task feature for convenience. Speech recognition is performed entirely offline on your device using the platform's on-device speech recognition engine. No audio recordings or transcriptions are sent to any external service.
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics providers, advertising networks, or external services. The only libraries used are open-source frameworks running locally (Flutter, sqflite, go_router, Riverpod).
Since no personal data is collected, no data is shared, sold, or disclosed to any third party.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, its security is governed by your device's built-in protections (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, device encryption). We recommend enabling device-level security to protect your data.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since no data is collected from any user, including children, this is not applicable in practice.
Because we do not collect or store your data, there is nothing to access, modify, or delete on our side. You can delete all App data at any time by clearing the App's local storage through your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the App and on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
